CONCETTO is the renowned annual techno-management fest hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad. With its first edition held in 2011, it is reputed to be Eastern India's largest gathering of tech minds and innovators. It attracts over 20,000 spirited participants every year and celebrates imagination and intellect, combining technical genius with management prowess.

It gives immense pleasure to welcome you to CONCETTO 2026, the techno-management festival of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, as we celebrate the institution’s remarkable centenary journey.

This year’s theme, “Centauri Synapse — Forged Over a Century, Soaring Towards Infinity, reflects our enduring legacy and our aspiration to explore limitless possibilities. CONCETTO embodies the spirit of connecting knowledge with innovation, ideas with action and challenges with solutions.

I commend the dedicated student team for creating a platform that inspires creativity, collaboration and technological excellence. I encourage all participants to challenge conventions, exchange ideas and embrace the spirit of innovation. For a century, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad has stood as a place where curiosity meets knowledge, and knowledge finds its way into innovation. From its beginnings as the Indian School of Mines to its emergence as a premier institution of science, technology and management, its journey has been shaped by generations of minds that dared to explore, question and create. CONCETTO’26 Centauri Synapse carries forward this spirit. It is a celebration of ideas that challenge the familiar, creativity that transcends boundaries, and young minds that dare to imagine what comes next. As IIT (ISM) Dhanbad marks 100 years of excellence, the fest becomes a reflection of a legacy that has always looked ahead. As Co-Convenor, it is a privilege to be a part of this celebration.
